One Rosebank II is the second of our two apartments in the One Rosebank building, and it is the one we recommend to people who are here to work. The living area is open, bright and built around a plush sofa and a 55-inch smart TV. There is a dining area that doubles as a proper laptop desk. The WiFi is fast and uncapped.
Then there is the bedroom, which is where the apartment quietly wins: a queen bed, good linen, and blackout curtains. Johannesburg mornings are bright and Johannesburg schedules are long. Being able to sleep past sunrise is worth more than most amenities on most lists.
The balcony is for the coffee. The walk-in shower, the fluffy towels and the toiletries are for everything after it.
Backup power. Backup water.
The building runs on both. Load shedding and water interruptions are somebody else’s problem for the duration of your stay.

Rosebank is one of Johannesburg’s most connected neighbourhoods: galleries, restaurants, the mall, the market and the Gautrain, all inside a walkable radius. Guests who stayed here in the past year rated the location 4.8.
